My Top Fall Beauty Must Haves

My Top Fall Beauty Must Haves

I feel like this summer has been the summer of highlighter – from Kim K. to Jaclyn Hill, it seems like “the look” is matte brown lips with enough highlighter to make your face look like a permanent disco ball is attached to it (seriously, those “100 layers of highlighter” tutorials are impressive!). Now I’m totally on board with the highlighter trend, mainly because it isn’t contouring which I definitely cannot do, but all that being said, I’m beyond ready for the fall makeup trends to hit! There’s something about flushed cheeks with berry lips and cozy sweaters that make it the absolute best time of the year. I may be getting ahead of myself, but I’ve already picked out my fall beauty must haves that are already filling up my makeup bag!

OOTD: Carrie Bradshaw was Right

“The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you that you love, well, that’s just fabulous.”

Summer is almost over and I cannot believe it! One of my favorite parts of the end of summer is the late night bonfires that get progressive cooler each weekend while we get closer to fall…it’s my favorite part of the seasons! Another favorite part of mine is the smores – I am the self-proclaimed smores queen! I’m that person that shows up to any bonfire fully loaded with chocolate, graham crackers, and the motherload of smores. But I’m taking my smores obsession away from late night bonfires and into the kitchen to create my favorite gluten free (and vegan!) loaded fudge smores bowls, perfect for your next night in – or out!

How to Upscale a Rental Bathroom

How to Upscale a Rental Bathroom

I’ve moved four times over the past four years – that’s quite a lot of moving in a short amount of time! Granted, I just graduated from college so that’s partly due to dorms but there’s also two apartments that I’ve lived in since I was a wee freshman. I’ve picked up some decor tips and tricks for dealing with the rental situation throughout the years (and thank you to my gorgeous Pinterest board for its never-ending inspiration). Decorating an apartment or condo that is rented is a tough job – you don’t want to do too much because you ultimately want your entire security deposit back, but you still want it to feel like home and like it represents part of your personal taste. So, today I’m showing you how to upscale a rental bathroom and how I keep mine fully stocked!
