This year I have decided to make my year of travel but in doing so, I forgot that I didn’t own a suitcase or even a weekender bag at the start of this year. Turns out, if you want to travel, you kind of need some bags to put everything in! So far this year I’ve traveled to Holland and Traverse City in Michigan, plus Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
I’m hoping, hoping, to make a trip to Universal Harry Potter Studios in Florida happen this fall in which case I will need to invest in a suitcase. I have a few weekender bags that I’ve purchased this year and absolutely love, as well as a few that are on my wishlist!
I love a good canvas weekender bag – especially when it’s monogrammed. They’re durable, classic, and seasonless which makes them a top pick for me. I’m in love with this Monogrammed Sunshine Satchel Weekender Bag from Marley Lilly, it’s a perfect size and easily monogrammed for your next trip!
The last picture above has my favorite designlovefest Travel Duffel bag from Target. Why do I love this bag? It has a bottom compartment – shoe storage for the win! It’s the perfect size to store extra flats, a hairdryer, towels, whatever you need to travel with that you might want to separate from the rest of your clothes.
I’ve been lusting after these for so long that they deserve their category! Longchamp Le Pliage Nylon Weekenders are only $135 and are a chic and waterproof way to cart around clothes and toiletries for the weekend. Trust me, this is probably going to be a holiday gift to myself this year…
