Celebrity Coverup? Come Correct Concealer By Fergie Centerstage Collection From Wet N Wild Review!

August 30 //  by Kelly Baum

Whew, that was a long name! The Come Correct Celebrity Concealer by Fergie Centerstage Collection from Wet ‘n Wild is a mouthful to say but is this product worth the long name? I’ve always thought of the Fergie collection as being the better part of Wet ‘n Wild’s product range-I love the primer and the lip products aren’t bad either. I also quite like this concealer but…I have some major issues with this and there are a few big reasons why I don’t reach for this every day!

I grabbed the shade “Medium Golden” and it was a big mistake. I was totally fooled by what it looked like in the tube-it looks like it would only be a tad darker than my skin tone, which I wanted since I get a little tan during summer. But when I blended it out…yikes. It turned so incredibly orange that this made me look like I got kissed by an Oompa Loompa. No offense to you if this matches your skin tone, I’m just saying for the way it looks on my natural skin-no Bueno. I’ve got it swatched next to other concealers that are the correct shades for me so you can get a comparison.

But that’s not all why I won’t reach for it. The formula is quite strange. It’s a very thick, full coverage concealer, no doubt, but it’s tacky and not in a good way. It more sticky than a liquid concealer should be and it makes it hard to blend out and blend in.

So overall I like this for the coverage, but not for the formula or the color overall. This was a miss for me, sadly, so this is a concealer to skip at the drugstore!

I’d love to know what you think, have you tried this concealer and made it work for you?

Thanks for reading,
