Guess who is officially settled in to their new place? It feels like just yesterday I was checking out some of the fabulous apartments on real estate websites like space station and now my dreams of moving to a new apartment have finally come true. That’s right, and now I’m onto the final and best stage of moving: decorating! Here’s my favorite apartment decor on a budget that’s both elegant and looks beautiful in my new home.
Elegant & Classy Apartment Decor on a Budget
Ginger Jars and Chinoiserie
I love collecting chinoiserie pieces and they instantly upgrade any room. I combine these beautiful blue and white floral pieces with gold accents or on cherry wood furniture. Vases are also a particular favorite of mine! I’ve had the best luck finding pieces for under $50 on Amazon, at my local Home Goods, and At Home stores:
As a graphic designer/hobby photographer, I love collecting vintage cameras and camera accessories! Even if they don’t work, they add a cute vintage vibe to my decor style and help if from being too “perfect”:
…I saved the best for last! Gingham prints are by far my favorite class apartment decor on a budget option – it adds a homey vibe to the space without being too rustic farmhouse style, especially if you go for buffalo check which is very similar to gingham. And as a bonus, it matches perfect with my navy blue and white chinoiserie pieces! Here’s a few of my favorites:
- Buffalo check plaid pillow cover, $7.49 <----I bought several of these & they're my fav!
- Gingham plaid table runner, $18.99
- Microfiber sheet set in gingham plaid, $19.99 <---- I have three sets!
There you have it! All of my favorite elegant, classy & a little-bit-preppy apartment decor on a budget that I’ve purchased for my new home! More pictures are coming in a few weeks when I finally put away those last few boxes.
