How to Get Volume in Your Hair!

Sometimes I see people’s hair and it’s just good-perfect volume, perfect shine, and a touch of bounciness. Their hair must be full of secrets or something that the rest of us don’t know and I’ve finally figured out what it is: reversing your routine. I’ve been trying out the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Collection for the past few weeks and here’s my secret: using conditioner before shampoo. Who would have thought that just switching a few products would change how your hair looks and feels? Well, TRESemmé formulated this system to work in reverse! Here’s my review on TRESemmé’s new collection and how I achieve a soft, bouncy hair style that lasts me all day!
// How to Get Volume in Your Hair!
// Step 1 Pre-condition to nourish and soften
I always start with the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Pre-wash Conditioner: it uses Fiber Polishing technology to help protect your hair and leave it smooth and polished. I usually let this sit for about 3-4 minutes before I move on.
// Step 2 Clean and condition
I then add the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Shampoo that removes any excess weight on your hair and keeps a light, conditioned layer.
// Step 3 Smooth and control
Once I’m out of the shower and my hair has dried a bit, I smooth the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximizer starting at my tips and blending slowly towards the roots. This is so I get the most product at the bottom of my hair where it really needs some frizz control and less at my roots, where I only need a little smoothing.
// Step 4 Style and hold
I then add TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Touchable Bounce Mousse to style my hair that day, whether it’s a voluminous blow out, tousled lob, or curled to perfection. I always follow up with the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Flexible Finish Hairspray to give a soft, flexible finish.
I’d love to know what you think-how would you style voluminous and bouncy hair? Let me know in the comments below!
