Brow Power? IT Cosmetics Brow Power Eyebrow Pencil Review

Are you ready for big, bold, beautiful brows (enjoyed that nice alliteration, didn’t you)? I received this as a reward in my last ipsy bag and how good of a reward is this-it retails for $12 (I have the deluxe sample size) on Ulta.com so I’d say this is pretty darn good! Now I never use an eyebrow pencil. Never. But, I was really drawn to this one because it comes in one shade-yep, one universal eyebrow shade. So of course I had to put it to the test! Read on for a full review + demo of the IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil!

I tried to get a good shot of the color but it’s basically a mid tone, grey brown. This is also not a rounded pencil, it has an ovular shape so it’s very easy to get a soft line when you’re working with it. Here’s a before and after:

Here’s a video with a nice demo of myself filling in my brows:

I filled in my left eyebrow and as you can see the color is almost a perfect match for me. It’s slightly redder and darker than I would like but my eyebrows are lighter and more grey than my actual hair color.

Overall I really like this formula. It doesn’t seem like it at first, but the pencil is actually quite a hard formula that makes it difficult to pencil in your eyebrows too much, but it deposits just enough color.

So you’re probably wondering, “will this work for me” and I don’t have an answer for you-It Cosmetics says that this pencil adjusts to everyone’s skin to form the perfect shade for them so I can at least tell you that if you have coloring similar to mine, this does work.

I do like this and use it every day and this doesn’t happen very often, but I probably will repurchase this when I run out! Click here to buy this online!

Thanks for reading,
Kelly xoxo
