How to be a Beauty Bargainista-Your Guide to Saving MONEY!
It’s so easy to get trapped in the beauty shopping bottomless pit of spending-sales, clearance shelves, new products just seem to empty my wallet like no other! So here’s my bargainista money-saving tips to help you still buy the same products but save a little bit more money in your wallet.
-COMBINE A COUPON WITH A SALE
I do this all the time at Ulta-whenever they have a $3.50 off a purchase of $10 or more coupon, I look to see what’s on sale that week, like NYX might be BOGO 1/2 off. I’ll wait to only buy during this time because I can catch the sale AND use my coupon.
If you’re an online shopaholic like me, eBates is fantastic. You sign up for free (I actually got a $10 Walmart gift card JUST for signing up!) and whenever you want to shop somewhere you just click the link to the store from the eBates site and it will log your shopping trip and give you a certain percentage of your total back, and then you receive the money at the end of the buying period. Click here to check it out!
So for instance, here’s a few online beauty stores and the percentage back that eBates is offering (at the time of publishing):
This is my go-to shop for beauty supplies-striping tape, makeup brushes, etc., are super cheap on Amazon and it’s not as sketch as ordering from eBay. Here’s some of my favorite beauty steals:
Striping Tape, Set of 10
Dotting Pen Set
Nail Art Gems, 3000 pcs
I’ve actually had a lot of luck with the beauty section at T.J.Maxx-I’ve found products I normally wouldn’t find in Ulta or drugstores and always at a really good discount. I don’t recommend T.J.Maxx’s sister store, Marshalls, though because I’ve never found a single good beauty buy there. I usually buy my elf, OPI, Essie, and Shiseido products at T.J.Maxx.
I’d love to know if you have an beauty money saving tips, too! Leave them in the comments below!
