Put it to the Test: Giovanni Hair Care Routine

// products provided for review. Thanks for supporting A Thing of Beauty!

Another month, another hair care line to test out! I’ve been getting so many hair care samples lately that my hair has never looked so good! This month I’ve been putting the Giovanni 2Chic line to the test and man, has it been getting tested in this Michigan weather lately. I raved about a cleanser from Giovanni a few months ago and they since contacted me asking if I would like to try more of their products and I have the opportunity to share many of them today. This post is just going to be an overview, for some of the other products like hair wipes or body products, I’m going to dedicate separate posts. Let’s see how they fared…

Look at that gorgeous shine! I start my routine with the 2Chic Brazilian Keratin & Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner and that’s what really gives my this gorgeous shine. I still do my reverse routine of conditioning first, rinsing with apple cider vinegar, and shampooing everything out. This is what keeps my medium to thick hair bouncy and weightless.

While my hair is drying, I spritz in a very small amount of the 2Chic Leave-In Conditioning Styling & Elixir. This is key – if you spray too much it significantly weighs your hair down. I like to do this step since I do the reverse hair routine, to give a little bit more moisture.

My absolute favorite products are the Blow Out Styling Mist and the Flat Iron Styling Mist. I either blow dry or curl my hair with a straightener in the morning and these are the products I’m using to protect my hair from heat damage and give it that irresistible shine.

I just want to point out, there’s hair towelettes included in this line! Say what? I haven’t had a chance to use these Touch-Up Towelettes yet, but believe me, they’re in all of my bags just in case.

Overall, I’m really pleased! The shine alone is fantastic, and this is a great salon-quality line to keep in my bathroom. My hats off to this Giovanni hair routine!

Kelly
