Is it just me or does Valentine’s Day come earlier and earlier every year? I feel like Target has had heart shaped decor out since the moment New Years Eve merch got pulled from the shelves! No matter if you’re celebrating Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day this year, I always like to pull out everything and anything that is pink in my closet (which isn’t much, actually!) and this year I’m creating a gorgeous, soft & romantic bun for Valentine’s Day that is so simple you have to try it out!
Soft, Romantic Bun for Valentine’s Day

Step 1 – Start by straightening the hair at your hairline back away from your head. This is to make sure you have a smooth, bump free look when your hair is pulled back.
Step 2 – Use the Revlon Sophist-O-twist to shape hair into a bun. I pulled my hair through the hole in the shaper, then twisted it inwards and pulled it into a circular bun shape. This product has a wire infrastructure so it is very easy to bend into a bun shape!

Step 3 – The problem with the Sophist-O-Twist is that it’s really hard to get all of your hair into the bun, and a little bit of the brown shaper is seen at the bottom of the twist. But luckily, both of those problems solve each other: I wrapped the leftover hair from the front of my head that didn’t fit around the section of the shaper that could still be seen and pinned it into place for a seamless look!

Step 4 – The last thing to do is softly wave my bangs away from my face using my Curlipops iron, creating a soft, romantic curl.

Thanks for reading (and many hugs & kisses!),
