Rose gold and copper are two of my favorite shades of all time. Navy blue and gold take the first spots, of course, but nothing is quite as soft and romantic as rose gold is! With Valentine’s (or Galentine’s, whichever you’re celebrating this year)
Day coming up, I get obsessed with rose gold and I always break out my all-time favorite rose gold eyeshadow that I wear for all of January and February: Ofra’s Highlighter in Bliss. Now, this particular highlighter has been reformulated and repackaged but you can use any rose gold eyeshadow with a good amount of shimmer to complete this gorgeous romantic look!
On a side note, can we talk about how different I look with glasses vs. without? I don’t use contacts so I hardly ever see myself without glasses since I can’t see a darn thing without them. It always shocks me when I take blog pictures without wearing them!
The number one reason why I love rose gold eyeshadow so much is because it’s the only color I need – rose gold is one of those shades that when you apply it on the lids and in the crease, it naturally darkens according to the contours of your lids. Meaning, I don’t need a crease color! This one eyeshadow does all the work for me – amazing.
When I use super shimmery eyeshadows like this I tend to use a matte liquid eyeliner, I just love the contrast between the black matte liner and the shimmery pink lids, it makes for a gorgeous, romantic effect! I’m willing to bet that just about every makeup brand makes a rose gold eyeshadow, just look for one that suits you.
