The holidays are *officially* right around the corner…and that means so is the company! Whether you’re going to be a guest or hosting a few of your own, prepping for travel just adds a layer of stress to the holidays. And seeing as I’m aiming for this to be the first year that I’m actually a little healthier, here’s a few ways to keep the stress at bay for the next 1.5 months and the start to keeping calm for the holidays!
The holidays got me like “SOS”. The key to having a good mind-body balance during the holiday season is managing stress – so if you haven’t started your holiday shopping by now, you’re already behind! I kid, but seriously, planning and managing your day well is going to make a world of difference.
PLAN IT OUT
My typical morning routine consists of three things: coffee (which I downed right before taking this photo), vitamins, and my planner. I have one of those planners that dive deep so I can schedule out individual hours if I need to and it definitely helps. I have marked when I need to have all my gifts purchased by when I’m traveling and holiday shopping dates!
GET SNUGGLY
I’m not much of a bath person, which is what a lot of people recommended to me to destress so I’ll do one better: an electric blanket. Nothing will melt away your stress and give you good dreams like a fuzzy heated blanket. I wish it was possible to feel textures through photos because this blanket is that snuggly!
START A DAILY VITAMIN
To prepare for the coming “germ season”, I’ve incorporated a daily vitamin into my morning routine (always with coffee!). Right now I’m using the Nature Made® Vita Melts which are quick and easy to take with my breakfast and help my immune system get the nutrients it needs so I’m good for the day and calm for the holidays. Nature Made® is the #1 Pharmacist Recommended Brand for many key dietary supplement categories* and I was able to find my bottle at my local Walmart for a great everyday low price!
Nature Made® has a variety of vitamins, minerals, and supplements (VMS) to help support nutritional gaps with your health goals in mind ranging from Digestive Support, Heart Health & Function, Energy Metabolism, Women’s Health, and much more!† Nature Made® vitamins and supplements: An easy, convenient way to help your body get the nutritional support it needs every day, whether it be to support bone health, immune health, or energy metabolism (helping convert food into energy).†
I found my bottle in the multivitamin aisle at Walmart and heads up, you can enter to win one of 60 Walmart gift cards worth $50 each, no purchase necessary. Can you just imagine how many cups of tea and electric blankets that can buy…
Cheers to a happy and (hopefully) no-stress holiday season!
