The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops Review
I have quite the collection of foundations growing in my drawer – my skin is of the tempermental kind once summer hits, meaning that sometimes I tan and other times I straight up burn. It’s pretty difficult to keep a foundation on hand that matches me for more than a month so I end up keeping a range of fair shades on hand because there’s nothing worse than being that girl everyone else thinks looks like an oompa loompa! However, with all of the new color correcting products hitting stores, that might not be an issue any longer. The Body Shop sent over two of their new Shade Adjusting Drops ($20) and I have to say, these are the most interesting products on my vanity right now!

Right off the bat, be very careful using these – the darkening shade especially is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way so don’t be heavy handed with the dabber! I wanted to see how these worked with my other foundations so I selected two that almost matches for my skintone, but not quite: Clinique’s Even Better Foundation that is too dark for me, and Maybelline’s Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation that is too light. Here’s the results:
So what can you use this for? To change the color of your foundation, concealer, to create a custom highlight shade or contour shade. These are two incredibly nifty shades to have on hand, especially if you’re one to experiment with liquid makeup!
