How to Fill in Eyebrows Naturally
So you might have heard of a little internet craze called the “Instagram Brow”. In short, while it’s the look that some people prefer, it’s definitely not a good look on my face! I prefer to amp my brows in a much more soft and natural way but that still frames my face well. If it’s one thing I never forget to do in the morning, it’s my eyebrows-they just set the stage for how my whole face looks!
//How to fill in eyebrows – my soft, natural method
I only use three products: a clear brow gel to get everything into place; then while that gel is still wet I go in with a thick angled brush and a grey brow powder; then I polish them up with a bit of tinted brow mascara! Here’s my number one key to not overdoing it on your brows:
Only use brow products where you need it.
If you only have a few blank patches in your brows then just fill those in and leave it at that. Brows start to look fake and drawn on when you fill in your entire brow. The only time I put something over my entire brow is the gel and the mascara because those are more to set and lightly tint my brows as opposed to filling them in.
Another quick tip is to be careful when you select shades of powders or pencils. Unless your hair has a lot of red tones to it, steer clear of anything that’s not a very grey based shade. I can’t tell you how many brows I’ve seen where you immediately notice what’s up because the second half of their brow is too red! I personally like to use very ashy looking eyeshadows-they’re generally cheaper than a “brow powder” and have better shade selection.
I’d love to know, what’s your number one brow product?
