How to Advertise your Blog in 2016
2016 is the year for your blog to grow! Over the past few months I’ve been experimenting with different modes of advertising and while some have worked out really well, others have been a waste of my time and money. Advertising your blog can be hard but there’s some methods that are free and some that are less time consuming than others so there’s definitely a method for you.

1. Invest in free promotion
No, I don’t mean leaving your blog url in comments on 50 blog posts per day (this is not okay with most bloggers) or spamming the world with your info. Try these free advertising tips instead:
-Look for blogs that have CommentLuv enabled-like mine! It’s a great way to get free promotion on your blog without accidentally annoying other bloggers. I recommend commenting regularly on blogs in your niche so they’re more likely to click on your link.
-Join some blogging Facebook groups. These are a great way to network and they often do threads where you share your blog post of the day.
-Twitter parties are another good way to get your name out there and gain exposure. Plus you get to try for some fun prizes while you’re at it!
-Look for people who need guest posts from other bloggers. This is a great way to introduce a whole new audience to your writing and photography!
2. Utilize Pinterest Ads
Pinterest ads have changed my life. I do the promoted pins, but the traffic (not the engagement!) option and I really like this because you can set your own daily budget. So if you only have $3 for ads this month, that’s fine, just set your budget at $1 per day for three days. I’ve seen some great results and with just $15 I was able to gain the exposure of 30,000 impressions and 150 repins.
3. Don’t waste your time on Facebook ads
I have run several ad campaigns on Facebook and seen absolutely zero clicks and engagements from all of them. So my advice is to not bother with Facebook advertising anymore, their algorithms are too tricky and time consuming to figure out when you could be spending that elsewhere. I’m sure some people have
