Here’s a before and after shot of my desk. Can you say “beautiful”? And it took me less than 10 minutes. So basically, you get a roll of paper, you line it up, peel off the backing, and very carefully stick while pressing down to remove air bubbles. It takes a few tries, especially if you have to cover sides like I did on the desk. But oh so worth it!
The particular paper that I bought is also very easy to remove so if I end up not liking the look in three months, I can just remove and top with another contact paper!
Here’s other DIY projects you can do with a $10 roll of contact paper:
-Update your old coaster set. Simply trace the shape on to the contact paper, cut, peel and apply!
-Make some fancy-ass labels. Because everyone needs their drawers labelled with white marble paper!
-Cover your fridge. Seriously. Do it.
-Use these as drawer liners.
-Cover the front of your school notebooks to make them fancy and unique!
