DIY Fall Pumpkin Canvas Print Art
I love, love pumpkins for fall and what better way to celebrate the season than with some pumpkin print canvas art! Throughout the year, I love to buy Canvas art, especially black and white prints Australia
as a given example. I love buying them from all over the world. It’s great to see what different nations come up with to sell online. This is super easy and a fun way to create your own pumpkin art (for all of my fellow broke college peers) and is also a great way to put a personal touch in your home decor this fall season. Here’s how to create this easy DIY fall canvas art:
Materials you’ll need
-Canvas: you can buy a variety of sizes from $0.97-10 at Walmart
-Variety of orange/gold paints: I had an old acrylic paint set but you can definitely find these for under $1 at Walmart
-Pumpkin: these are foam pumpkin shapes, you can also get a stamp or sponge if you can find one!
So I basically just dipped the pumpkin shapes in the paint and very carefully “stamped” them on the canvas. Different methods will give you different results and textures: I really gooped the paint on and rubbed the shape around a little to give it a unique texture. Obviously if you do something else like stamping with ink, you’ll get a very different effect!
I really love this project, I’m a big fan of repeating prints like this in general and this is a great way to kill a little time and create a gorgeous canvas.
