How to Get Organized, the Quick & Easy Guide!
This is what goes in that adorable Keep Calm and Have a Cupcake notebook! Every day I start out my day on a fresh new page with a list of everything I need to do-every, little, thing. I start with what’s most important and work my way down. This is key because not only am I prioritizing but by putting even the minuscule tasks down, I can start crossing things off easily and it reminds me to come back to my list and complete it. It’s important to not only make a list, but stick to it!

Step 2: The idea book
The key here is to pick a notebook with a cover that inspires you-I’m a designer and fan of french things so I grabbed this striped notebook with colors in french. This my inspiration journal, one I’ve dedicated solely to my ideas for blog posts, lists for the future, and anything else that inspires me. It’s important to keep this separate from the stress of daily to-do lists to create a positive place to hold all of your brilliant ideas.

Step 3: A planner that fits your lifestyle
I considered purchasing one of the Erin Condren planners and a host of others I was watching on etsy but I quite like this one by At-A-Glance because it has hourly appointment slots for each day of the week which works well for me to record all of my meetings, classes, client work, etc. If you don’t have a lot of appointments, then something like a life planner would be better so you can group your daily items by category. But I’m really loving this planner, it keeps me on track!

So that’s all that I do, every day! Here’s a video showing these journals if you want to see more, and some additional tips!
