How to get picture perfect for prom! At A Thing of Beauty

I know that prom isn’t exactly happening soon (the snow hasn’t even melted here in Michigan) but if you’re like me, you start planning a long time before the big night. The gorgeous blue dress pictured above is one I wore to a school ball last year but luckily it’s still in stock ¬†on Modcloth and you can find it here. But, the big feature of this look is the lovely diamond bracelet from Anjolee Diamond Jewelry. I have to say, it definitely felt extra special having this bracelet on my arm and it really completed the look!

With dresses for prom, my preferences have always been more flowy dresses like the one above-they’re not restrictive, I can eat what I want at dinner and not have to worry about bloating/spanx, and it has a gorgeous movement when you dance. If you’re new to dress shopping or are looking for something on a budget, I recommend checking out sites like Lulu’s or Modcloth, they always have gowns on clearance or you can grab one for a deal with a coupon!

There’s no doubt that this bracelet is anything short of stunning, it’s simple yet very elegant. You can check out this exact style here. If you happen to be in the market for some new high-end jewelry be sure to check out the way you can customize their jewelry, too! Prom is such an exciting time and if you’re lucky enough to still have the chance to go, definitely make the most of it because trust me, it’s one of the few things you’ll remember from high school in a few years!

I’d love to know, what other tips do you have for prom? Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading,
Kelly xoxo
