4 Spring Trends to Try

Spring-Trends

I feel like spring is finally here! It’s been dreadful in Michigan-lots of rain and still low temps, but we’re getting there! So to get in the spring mood, here’s four spring trends you should definitely try!

1. LOOSE EYESHADOWS
Mineral or loose eyeshadows come in some really pretty pastel shades that are perfect for a spring-inspired eye! Apply a primer so the pigments have something to stick to and then you can use a brush (I prefer my fingers) to apply a light layer over the lid. Yes, they do get a little messy, but the colors are so on trend for spring and I get a better finish with pastel loose eyeshadows than I do with pressed ones.
Recommendations: Prestige Cosmetics “Let Loose” Shimmering Shadow Dust or e.l.f. Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadows

2. PASTEL & TEXTURED POLISHES
Pastel shades are great on the nails but if you can find shades with a different finish like matte or sugar, it makes your nails all the more fresh and eye-catching! You may need to apply a white base coat underneath pastel shades, though, to make the color stronger.
Recommendations: Love & Beauty shades (only $2.80!) or Sally Hansen Sugar Coat polishes

3. HAIR BOWS
I know it’s not a beauty item, but I’ve been rocking hair bows almost everyday for the past month. I get all of mine in packs of two for $2.80 from Forever21 and they’re the perfect spring hair accessory-and they come in lots of cute colors & patterns!
Recommendation: American Apparel hair bows

4. GOLDEN PEACH BLUSHES
What better for the perfect springtime glow than a golden peach blush? It’s just such a fresh look and a much needed change from the darker blushes I usually use for winter.
Recommendations: e.l.f. Studio Blush in Peachy Keen or Giddy Gold

I’d love to know if you have any idea for spring must-have products! Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading,
Kelly xoxo

I love the pastel nail polish shades. They’re perfect for spring. I’m totally going to paint my toes different shades of pastel now 😀

Love pastel nails! I have recently started using some loose eyeshadows, they are a little mess, but super pretty. I love your bows, so cute!

Love the look of pastel nails. Possibly because it’s so unexpected.

Agreed! I typically don’t wear pastel shades but I’m super excited to break some out this month!
