Why you need to buy Wet n Wild’s Color Icon Blushes
Yes, it’s another Wet n Wild post (and no, I’m not sponsored)! This time it’s not their Coverall foundation but their Color Icon blushes!
These retail for $2.99 and are the best blushes I’ve ever used. Why? They’ve got everything a good blush has!
Good color selection ✓
-there’s four colors total, ranging from a light pink to darker berries
Good pigmentation ✓
-because these are so pigmented you have to use a really light hand when applying
Good packaging ✓
-let’s be honest, it’s a drugstore product so the packaging isn’t going to be on Dior’s level. However, I really like the simple layout and the brush it comes with isn’t that bad
The two colors I have are Mellow Wine and Heather Silk and although these are darker shades, my natural flush is pretty dark so I find that these work really well.
The only drawback that I’ve found is that they have parabens in the ingredients list-not the best, I still like to limit my use of parabens.
What did I think overall? A-
Would I recommend it? Definitely! Especially if you love more berry toned, matte blushes.
Would I repurchase it? For sure! Since these are so affordable, especially when on sale, I’d be mad not to!
So what do you think? Have you tried these Wet n Wild blushes? Let me know in the comments below!
