I had been eying this online for quite a while, and while at my local Sephora I just had to pick one up! I’ve been meaning to try out a loose powder foundation for a while now because I was curious if I could get good coverage without a liquid foundation. They carry several powders but I chose the Sephora Mineral Loose Powder Foundation in the shade Light 15 which was the closest to my skintone without going too orange or dark.

This is an excellent buy! For only $10 you get 3 oz of foundation! The foundation itself is very good. I only use it to set my tinted moisturizer or a light dusting when I don’t have a whole lot of time, and my skin instantly looks a uniform color (mine’s Light 15).
The Pros:
It’s only $10! It’s a beautiful color for me, and my skin looks lovely after I put it on. I use an ELF complexion brush to apply, and it does the job. Also, there’s quite a bit of product in here. It’s made with no parabens, and as a bonus, it’s fragrance free + It’s made in the USA!
The Cons:
Although it’s fragrance free, it does have a natural smell which is a hit or miss. I personally don’t like it, but you’ll only notice it when it’s in the container. Also, it’s not as finely milled as I would like. In the picture above, you can see some of the product in little balls, which is a waste of product because I’m not going to get that on my face! But for the price, you can’t really complain.
The Bottom Line
8/10
Overall, this is my new favorite face product. I love price, and the color and I will definitely be stocking up before they’re out of stock. Be sure to pick one up while they’re on sale!
